This site is the communication arm of the Conference and Journal Committee of the Federal College of Agricultural Produce Technology, Kano Nigeria: An institution founded by the National Stored Product Research Institute (NISPRI) and supervised by the Agricultural Research Council of Nigeria (ARCN).
We are committed to the training of personnel and research in the area of Postharvest technology, science, and management of Agricultural produce: In fact, we are a regional centre for Postharvest resources in Sub-Sahara Africa. In our effort to promote further research and interest of other researchers and scholars in the area of making safe food available in quality and quantity all the year-round, we proposed a meeting of like minds in form of a conference themed: “Guaranteed food security in an era of global insecurity”.
Presentations and discussions would be compiled into proceedings made available online and the submitted research full paper would go through a thorough plagiarism check and peer-reviewed for publication on this portal. We solicit global partnership from institutions of learning, industries, agencies, professional bodies, Non-Governmental Organisations (NGO), International bodies, philanthropists, and good-spirited individuals in cash, kind, exchange programmes, training and re-training of personnel, technical support, scientific and technological transfer to making food security a reality globally and especially in Sub-Sahara Africa.
